Can´t help it, but I post more of the Horned Grebes. This newly hatched chick gets its lunch served sitting on one parents back. :)

Tog bilen till Fågelstationen Kvismaren idag. På vägen dit och även där såg jag en hel del svenska färger. Raps odlas ju mycket och är så vackert när det blommar. Lin däremot ser man inte mycket av. Därför var det roligt att kunna stanna och ta en bild. Sländan fann jag på promenaden.
Swedish colors, yellow and blue. I took the car to the BirdObservatory Kvismaren today. On the way I spotted some fields of rape and flax. Rape is quite common, but not flax. I liked to be able to stop and take some images. The demoiselle was found on my walkabouts.

"3x1" syftar på hur många gånger man ser grenen. :) Grenen själv, skuggan på botten och spegelbilden på vattenytan.
"3x1" is about how many times you can see the branch in the photo. The branch itself. The shadow on the sandy bottom and the reflection on the watersurface. :)

Andra dagen på Camargue resan, när vi stod och skådade fåglar, upptäckte jag den här solhalon. Inte ofta man ser så det måste ju förevigas.
The second day, on my journey to Camargue, when we was birding, I spotted this halo effect on the sun. Not often you see this fenomenon so it had to be documented in a photo.

Vilken risig frissa. - What a terrible hairdo.
Svarthakedopping m unge - Horned Grebe with chick
Min värld idag handlade om fåglar. Jag fick syn på en gräslig gräsandshane. Han har börjat rugga till honfärgad dräkt. I gengäld var ju svarthakefamiljen riktigt fin.
My world today are about birds. I spotted a Mallard male that had a terrible hairdo. It is moulting its plumage to eklips. On the other hand the Horned Grebe family looked really sweet.

Röd flickslända - Large Red Damselfly
På väg till sjön för att paddla stannade jag till vid bron i Carl Ugglas Park. För 3 år sedan såg jag röda flicksländor där. Nu hittade jag 2 st igen. Så glad jag blev. Som gjort för ett Macro inlägg. De satt ju snällt och poserade. :)
On my way to the lake to paddle I stoped at one of the bridges in Carl Ugglas Park. 3 years ago I foudn some red Damselflies there. Now I spotted 2. I was happy, this is good for a Macro post. They were sitting still to let me take their shots. :)

Det här är en 6000 år gammal by som kallas Vrå. En rekonstruktion som är väldigt fin. Den finns ung 12 km utanför Katrineholm och jag besökte den igår.
This is old huts rebuilt on ruins. It is supposed to be 6000 yrs old.The village is called Vrå. It is located about 12 km outside Katrineholm. And I visited it yesterday.

En ny vän - A new friend

Det här är min nya vän Gustav. Han säger att han föddes 1918 så han blir 92 i år. Han växte upp på en gård i vildmarken i Jämtland. Han har en massa humor. I tidningen såg han en bild som den här och undrade om jag ville ta ett kort på honom och hans älghorn. Så klart jag gjorde det. Sen tyckte han att jag skulle sätta ut det på min blogg. Trots hans aktningsvärda ålder så gillar han alla tekniska "underverk". Så nu får han väl ta sig hit och titta hur det blev.

Stenigt i Hallmare - Rock in Hallmare

Inspiration och Kreativitet wants stones for this weeks challenge. So I took some photos, from last summer, of my favourite rock-formation.
På bilden t h finns vatten, berg och min dotter. En oslagbar kombination. :)
