Vitbalans / White balance "auto"

Vit balans "skugga" - White Balance "shade"
NF Photo 110109.

The last two photos was shot the same minute but with different setting on Whte balance. Made a big difference, didn´t it?

Nice comparison between the auto and shade WB. I don't know which one I like better. Both are nice.

Fina vinterbilder! :)

I like the difference the white balance can make. It's not good to always shoot on auto! :)

thanks everyone, and, yes the WB can change a lot of how it turns out.

Beautiful photos. Thanks for showing the use of white balance.

It did indeed make a great difference. I like both shots; one is warm and inviting, the other cool and serene. My world finally looks like your world now after our first significant snowfall of winter!

:O)

Great shots. I never shoot with an auto white balance. Its just too important an adjustment.Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.

Fina bilder.

Beautiful photos. I love that you included both. I really like the effect of the "shade" setting.

Very interesting comparison, I may need to try a few like that myself. Good idea.

The water in your third pic looks frozen - is it? Oh boy, looks really cold too!

NatureFootstep said...

no, it´s not frozen but the lake upstream are. And downstream.

Stunning images. Isn't it amazing at how much of a difference changing a setting can do when capturing a sequence of shots.
